10 years later, Third Eye Blind's self-titled album still rocks the house.

It reminds me of Real World Seattle. Maybe because the Pacific Northwest is a rather depressing place, as are much of the casts on reality TV programs.

And there's a demon in my head
Who starts to play,
A nightmare tape loop of what went wrong yesterday,
And I hold my breath
'Till it's more than I can take,
And I close my eyes; I dream that I'm awake

Though, in retrospect, the whole album is about addiction to Meth and bad relationships.

I want something else
To get me through this
Semi-charmed kind of life

Against the Top 10, Notre Dame was outscored 132-59 while outscoring all other opponents (Penn St being the only ranked team, 19th) 344-178.

Points scored against lower-tier teams averaged 34.4/game which is 10 points lower than given up to the Top 10 while points given up to lower-tier averaged 17.8/game, just shy of the 19.7/game average scored against the Top 10.

Even on the best days, against lowly UNC and Army (combined 6-18) they managed to not score, on average, as many points it would take to beat the likes of the Top 10: Michigan, USC and LSU.

And somehow they just lost their 9th straight bowl game and 2nd BCS game in a row. Amazing.
