Oh boy, where to start. It's been a while, a long while since I last posted. A lot has happened in my life since February, if you were a part of it then you know. Without going into any detail (and just mention in passing) I finished the Terre Haute Triathlon with a time of 2:57:19. Not bad for a first timer but improvement can be made. Tonight we had "pass the gavel" and if you don't know what that is I wont bother to explain. I am reminded of years past and where I have been. I have grown and matured more than I ever had dreamed when I first set foot on Rose soil three years ago. Hearing the exiting seniors speak their peace reminds me to take advice and use it in my life. Not all advice mind you, as some I do not agree with. Through my college years I have seen others mature as well. Freshman year had me meet Kevin, my big bro in Pi Kappa Alpha, and I have seen him change, for better or worse during my tenure. From "dating" some girl from Depauw and almost getting arrested one night while driving to see her to proposing to Nikki to accepting his job at ADM, he has changed. He is no longer naive in the ways of the world, no longer does he accept what is given, instead he goes out and takes what is his. I need to start doing this more. After I finished my job at Rush Chair I pretty much took a back seat and I see now that I cannot let this happen. Being one of 7 seniors living in the house next year motivates me to get involved, as much as I was sophomore year. These are the greatest days of my life right? I am feeling very nostalgic at this moment and reminiscing over years past makes me think about where I am going. What does tomorrow hold, or next week or next year? Right now I will kick back with a mixed tape and think...my undergraduate career is drawing to a close and where will I go from here?
